"A Warrior's Awakening"

I follow Jesus, the Captain of the Heavenly Host, the Living God of all.
He has conquered all things and put them under His feet.
He has won the victory over everything and everyone.
In Him we have victory over everything and everyone who opposes us.
We have a foe. He is a defeated foe, but he is a determined foe.
Strong yet frail, his might is a lie, an illusion that lulls the uninformed
and unbelieving.
In Jesus, I have absolute victory over this foe, absolute.
But, My flesh and my mind are at odds with my Savior,
often giving place to my foe,
And he is a determined and opportunistic foe.
The battle within me rages daily.
When I fight in harmony with my Savior,
T walk in His victory, absolutely.
When I fight against Him, I fall to my frail foe.
Now I see. Now I understand.
I will cleave to my Savior and prevail over my flesh and my mind through
Him.
T will cling to Him as to life itself, for there is Life in no other.
I will give no place to my foe.
I will prevail over him at every turn, for he is frail and false, his
might only real to the unknowing and unbelieving.
I will walk in the victory of my Savior and Lord. Absolutely.
I will take back what my foe has stolen; it will be restored,
For that is my mission.
I will tell the unknowing what I now know.
I will show the unseeing what I now see.
Many will believe what I now believe, they must,
For there is victory in nothing else.
I will not stop until my Lord returns or until I am called to Him.
Not unopposed, but undaunted, I will go from victory to victory, routing my
foe at every turn, as my Lord directs.
I will attack all day, and I will attack all night,
For that is my mission.
I will fight the fight, I will die to self, I will live for Him, and I will
love above all else.
I will pray without ceasing, for that is how I war.
My light will never die, for it is His.
My name is written in the Lamb's book of life.
