Beginnings: Peace Officers for Christ International was formed by a group of police officers in Orange County, California in 1980. Purpose: The mission of Peace Officers for Christ International is to bring police officers and their families to a saving knowledge of and close personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Law enforcement is a God ordained ministry of service and protection for our society as outlined in the Bible in Romans 13. POFCI wishes to develop the law enforcement officer's spiritual life as it applies to their law enforcement career. Peace Officers for Christ International desires to see that both the new believer and the mature Christian police officer are discipled through personal involvement with bible teaching, Jesus Christ centered churches.
